Barbecued Brisket


An easy way to have fun barbecue with no grilling fires. This works wonders in a Slow Cooker, and any leftovers make the next day’s lunch into something your family will really wait for!

1 (5 pound) beef brisket
Salt and lots of Pepper to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ cup liquid smoke
½ cup vinegar
½ cup light brown sugar
½ cup ketchup
½ cup Worcestershire sauce


Trim extra fat from brisket. Season brisket with salt, pepper, garlic powder. Combine liquid smooke, vinegar, sugar, ketchup, with Worcestershire sauce jointly and spread over the brisket. Cover up and refrigerate throughout night.

Preheat oven to 300°F. Put brisket and marinade in oven. Bake, covered, for 4 to 5 hours or until brisket is soft.
