This fish chowder II recipe is a bit chunky because we add some creamy corn into this recipe for fish chowder II and it tastes great with that ingrdient.
4 tablespoons butter
1 onion, chopped
4 cups water
2 (15 ounce) cans creamed corn
3 potatoes, peeled and in cubes
5 cups milk
2 pounds cod fillets, in cubes
Salt and pepper to taste
Thaw out the butter in a big pot over medium flame. Include the onion and sauté for 5 to 8 minutes or until it goes softer. Include the potatoes and water and cook for 18 more minutes, or until potatoes are softer.
Include the creamed corn with milk, stirring until soft. To end with put in the fish, stir well and let it heat through, for almost 10 to 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper according to taste.
