Spicy and delicious potato kababs recipe is best to serve with other barbecued dishes, give them a go at your next barbecue party.
5 lbs Potatoes Red medium
8 oz Green Chilies
A bunch of Cilantro
1 Tbsp Cumin seed
2 oz Pomegranate seed dried
1 tsp Red Chili powder
1 tsp Salt
14 oz Butter Solids -OR- 2 cups vegetable oil
Cut green chilies and cilantro. Soften butter on heat.
You’ll boil potatoes (water should hardly cover potatoes)
When potatoes are boiled, take away from heat and peel them off.
Place in freezer for 5 minutes to set.
Take away from freezer. Mash them thickly, mashing manually is better.
Include salt, red chilies, cumin seeds, cilantro leaves, green chilies, pomegranate seeds and blend well with hands.
Mix two eggs (both yolks and whites) in a big bowl.
Add 2 T of softened butter in a frying pan on normal heat.
Make even (kebab size) portions of potato batter to form 2 inch rounds kababs with the help of your hands
(Oil your palms so that potato won’t stick)
Even out these 2 inch balls to make kababs.
Coat each with eggs batter and put in fry pan one by one.
Shift to other side after 4 minutes.
You can serve kebabs with green sauce or tomato sauce of your choice.
