Sopapillas recipe is basically a Mexican bread recipe that is soft and light brown and Sopapillas bread needs to be deep fried and it tastes best when eaten fresh.

Flour 6 cups
Salt 1 tsp
Sugar 1 tabs
Yeast tabs
Hot water 2 cups (approx)

Combine all the dry ingredients, and make a well.  A little at a time, pour in the water, mixing well until the dough forms a stiff or firm ball.  Knead the ball until smooth and elastic.  Cover, and let rise until double. Then heat up oil to 375 degrees.  Roll dough out until it is about 1/4″ thick.  Cut into triangles.  And fry until golden brown.  Drain, and keep warm in a 150-degree oven.  Serve with honey for more good taste.
