1 1/2 cups long grain rice
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice, fresh
6 cups water
freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

Directions
1. In a deep saucepan, bring the water to a boil; include the rice and salt.
2. When the water returns to a bubble, let it boil strongly for seventeen minutes.
3. Drain in a strainer; run under very burning water and draw off again.
4. Include the butter, salt and pepper to taste, drop over the lemon juice and toss until the grains are encrusted.
