Chicken Fried Steak Cuban Style

Description

Chicken Fried Steak Cuban Style is an appetizing and yummy chicken fried steaks with a fresh Latin touch.

Ingredients

4 (4 ounce) cube steaks
2 eggs
3 cups dry bread crumbs
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lemon, sliced
2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Recipe

In a shallow dish, mix the breadcrumbs with the oregano, cumin, and salt and pepper. Whip eggs in a different shallow dish. Immerse each steak in whipped eggs, and then in the breadcrumb batter. Take care to cover each steak finely with the breadcrumb batter.
In a big deep skillet, heat 1inch oil over average high heat.
Put the steaks in the oil when it's burning (so that the breading will not stick to the pan). Cook steaks, turning just one time until brown for well-cooked and fair brown for medium. Serve with lemon slices.
